Jim started Sierra West Electric, an electrical contracting business in 1990. Starting with one single customer, and his promise to deliver the highest level of quality, he has built a company that positively impacts small and large businesses across California. He has been in the electrical field since 1978 during which he has established long-lasting relationships. With perseverance and hard work, he and his wife, Kristen, have sustained many years of changing economies and their customer footprint has grown to impressive levels.

As the company grew, so did the team. And the combined efforts of all members enable them to share extensive experience specializing in design-build. Sierra West Electric installs electrical systems ranging from car dealerships and commercial buildings to tilt-ups, tenant improvements, remodels, shopping centers, retail stores, as well as medical offices.
